Whitey Linderman, Bill Woodcock and John (Sweet Pea) Lehew. Whitey was crippled but despite a very grotesque limp he worked a team of elephants on the lot very well. Having a very common nick name he was sometimes referred to as "Mysterious Whitey" but being well before the days of Political Correctness, he also answered to "Broken-Ass Whitey" Lehew was about as ugly as you could get and somebody tagged him "Sweet Pea".
