Again thanks Vincent for giving us an insight of current circuses across the water. Looks like these Folcos are among the few elephant and horses, etc. that travel in Europe. I note they have elephants on other shows as well. What country to the permanently reside?[winterqtrs] What would be their background? nationality? Keep the photos coming. thanks again, johnny
To Mr. Herriot
I have gotten to spend a bit of time around these one hump creatures and familiar with a bit of their M,O. However other than just leading a two hump, the question is; when it comes to their character and training, how do you find them in comparison to the Dromedary????
Ditto Jimmy, been wondering the same thing for a long time.
Does anyone in this country work Bactrians?
Paul
Don't mean to interupt the conversation.I have never trained a ring act but have trained both species to halter and to 'kush'(lie down). They are similar as long as you don't put too much heat on them.I refer to Mr Herriot as I know of his vast experience with camelids and the rest.
Cheers
Glenn
