What (& when) was the origin of the

use of military officer's titles

of rank & were there others besides

Colonel & Captain utilized

I like the title of Brigadier for

our esteemed Blog Emperor although

I'm fully aware of the Wizard that

sits behind the curtain & of the

Grand Empress that keeps all of the

wheels on all of the wagons
