We're still anxiously awaiting
news & photos of the new mower
Was there any reason to have them
out in that severe cold condition
Was it Gardner's decision or was
he likely ordered by management
This is Percy Phillips well before Gardner's days with the show.
For some reason there was never any railroad trackage laid from Peru to the quarters. I don't know the distance but I remember being driven out there some time ago and it had to be three of four miles, maybe more.
I remember my Dad mentioning elephants with frost bitten ears being common during winter time activity.
I can understand that they had to move them somehow but this event looks staged with everyone dressed up.
Might they not have taken it next to the elephant barn?
Lawn mower-wise, my banker settled on the one we first ordered but with a better deal. A new and improved version of the one I already have but with a larger engine and tighter turning radius but alas unbefitting a man of my character and flair.
In other words, just another old fart trying to see where he's going!
It seems you two might just have
to go for counseling about flair
Does it at least have a canopy
or do you need a big sombrero
Isn't Jamie just about ready to
take over the mowing
