I always find it hard to believe that elephant spines aren't damaged when stood on like this.
I guess the topmounter weight is spread out on all four feet so that helps.

Pretty much did Chic..he was owned by the Hunts and IAE before WOA then off to Jacksonville. I saw him there when we went to transport a young giraffe for the menagerie..

The guy at left is the late "Rammy Sammy" Haddock whose wife caused all that heat up at the farm.
