The Spanish Riding School performed at The Horse of the Year Show in 1969. Its appearance would have provided an opportunity for the band to play Boccherini’s “Minuett” which is one of the numbers traditionally used in School performances.

Boccherini’s “Minuett” is the composition that Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, Herbert Lom, Cecil Parker and Danny Green are supposedly practicing (while actually planning a daring armored car robbery) in the 1955 British comedy THE LADY KILLERS.
