This picture brought up something and I have a question for the Colonel, Captain and the other animal folks.....
Obviously rehearsals are in "non-show" clothes and your charges would get "used" to your appearance. When it came time to perform in your "show" costume, did you have recognition problems or "acceptance" problems with your charges?
To Mr Larry Louree It however dos make a big difference in who is wearing the show costume or non show clothes I believe Larry A Dean will agree with that PS that is the get up that Robert Baudy showed with and a showman he was
Baudy was a "showman" alright! Ned & I worked for him at his compound in Center Hill Florida the winter of 1980-81. We often would prepare for school field trips. Baudy would usually wear this "costume" to demonstrate training for the kids. Then he would proudly let them know about his appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show(and we would watch the kids blank faces...who didn't know who Ed Sullivan was!) Once you got past his massive ego, Baudy was a very nice guy! :-) Cindy Potter
