You know, the winter of 1973-74 while camped in Venice with the Circus World elephants waiting to be moved up to Davenport, I saw the Blue Show come in, complete an entire rehearsal period plus their opening then leave but I don't remember this act.
Maybe Dr. Zala was wrong after all!.
It's a good sign that you remember
the Doctor's name pal
Was that pudding or pencil
He might have joined the show after it went on the road. He was also in the 106th Edition.
The “jungle” music that accompanied Monastyruk’s act was “Road to Kenya” and “Parahos Rumberos,” with an up-tempo rendition of “Caravan” used for his fast exit.
I really don't remember watching or seeing that act in Quarters that year either Capt? I sat through many practices in the old arena that year..couldn't get enough...:)
Natal was the first under canvas in the early 40s and I believe the est. He did leave much of the audience "in doubt" JOHNNY
