While doing some research in the Billboard magazine files I ran across the attached article in the April 2, 1938 issue. It seems there was a lot of activity going on over there on the old Windy Van Hooten shows! I thought that maybe you might get a kick out of it.

Ah, yes, this was the show with the glass center poles with goldfish swimming about! I think it was Starr de Belle, longtime press agent back in those days (and often with Royal American carnival) picked up the series that appeared occasionally over the years in Billboard during the 1940s. De Belle was also the author of that great dictionary of show biz slang aptly titled "Webster Was a Sucker!"
