This is Christy's #2 Unit Lee Bros.
The Wier Elephants had headpieces like these and can be seen in some Dailey Show pix.

Now I see where my Dad got the elephant, pony and dog idea with the act he trained a couple years later on Yankee AQmerican [Lindeman bros.of seils sterling later] as he was a young guy around Christy shows in those days. Very interesting. Later bI would train a number of these type of acts fr0om hearing my dad tell me about it. In Chappies horse book is a photo of the Yankee American act with the infamous Billy Sunday small stature elephant. johnny
