I have often wondered why, at least one of these seat wagons didn't,t service, as so many wagons have. I only saw these wagons once, Lansing, Mich. 1954.
Again, Thank You, Buckles for sharing these great photos, of a time gone by and remembered by many.

I was on the Ringling part of 47, and then 49. Did the seat wagons last to the closing in 56? We dressed underneath them, and some dressed in the wagons. Yes, there were times that some that some one sitting watching the show in the seats on top would spill a bottle of coke and it would come down through the canvas openings down to the dressing room below, often on the trunks or costumes racks. They were quite high in the back. High enough that Margie Geiger and I would hang rings or a trap and were able to practice there between shows.

I saw the 1950 show. My cousin and I sat at the very top of the blue seats and spent a lot more time looking over into the backyard than we did the performance.
