The big jinglebell collar was quite

common on last fast comedy turns

A riding acttradition. The finish horse. No surcingle [roller] or bridle. Bells on. No pad [bareback] No jump board/. Fast on and off with gallop music [ start slow and build tempo [one beat to the bar]. Kind of like the tradition of the "passing leap" or librerty horse ,rear. Long gone. Too bad. No one did it any better than Tommy and George.

Didn't Tommy inherit the comedy turn

from his uncle Poodles
