This lady of exquisite talent, flash, and style had one of the most endearing personalities you could ever meet in showbusiness. Last night, I was looking again at her autograph signed on RBBB, in '57. She is the kind who leaves the brightest memories.
Roger: It is so wonderful to hear someone of your stature and experience say such wonderful and such true things about Lottie. Diane and I first met Lottie and Teddy and Francis a little over 30 years ago. From the very first moment they were warm, wonderful, down to earth people belying their exceptional talents and careers. They had lived in Moonachie, NJ about halfway between longtime Circus Fan and past CFA Pres. and mutual friend Frank Robie and us. Frank knew them intimately for many many years and has related many wonderful stories. I was taken aback when Francis passed away to learn that he was being buried in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ where Diane's parents rest and where some members of my Mother's family also rest. Lottie, Teddy, Francis and their parents are all there now.
