If there is a HereAfter, may Ernie Burch rest in peace and with the best booking ever. I really do not know of any other clown who gave so much of himself clownwise to his fellow man. A real trouper. I can not even think of anyone who was a more outstanding personality out of the ring than Earnie. Some people are soon forgotten, but Ernie seems to hold his place forever. It would be very difficult to even try to compare him with anyone. He was indeed a special individual beyond compare. May he have all of God's Blessings.

JACKIE: Maran (Mrs. Ernie Burch) sent me a package of tributes to Blinko after his passing. The best of these is the full text of your eulogy for him at St. Martha's Catholic Church, on September 3, 1993. She loved re-telling how delighted Clyde Beatty was that they married on his show, in 1953, in Center Ring, during a performance.
