Fay is in the 2nd turn of a double over the bar. Note his height and the perfection of his form. What a master. Catching is Bob Yerkes. The girl in the return is not Rosie. Someone verify if she is Dorothy Yerkes.
Fly bars are often rather plain affairs--just a length of solid round with grommets for the cables. Fay always had the chrome balls on the ends of his bar in a tribute to his idol, Alfredo Codona. He said the added weight gave a truer swing for the returns, and I felt they also lent a further touch of circus to the act.
