1953 Diano Bros. Circus #5

Corky Plunkett told me of a little Campa girl who got killed by a bear. Does anyone have more details?

That isn't the little girl that was killed. She was nine years old. She was running past the "LION CUB" not a bear.And the lion was only nine months old. And they always tied him out, and everyone played with him. She was just running to change costumes. As I understand it he was playing. They didn't feel that he had killed her in anger. But she was dead none the less. What a waste....That picture was taken in 1950.... I think the little girl was killed in 1951 or 1953.???? Can't remember just now......Barbara....
