1953 Diano Bros. Circus #1



"My wife came up with these pictures.
Here she is riding "Myrtle" in the daily street parade (Ben was one year old) and Rex astride one of the Diano Africans.
This was their first year back with Ben Davenport since the Dailey Show folded."

Sorry to correct the " MIGHTY BLOG MASTER ", but " Ben " my son was six weeks old when Diano Bros. Circus opened. And six months when the show folded. It didn't last long. Two of my sisters were on the show Hope and Peggy. That wasn't much of a correction, but I just want to be a little help to my husband......Ha ! Ha ! When the show closed Rex and I went with Tony Diano, with Ben Davenport's best wishes. Ben had sold Tommy and a camel ( real mean ) to Tony Diano. We all know how successful Tommy was and the mean camel turned out to be a great breeder.....Barbara....
