Yes, it is. He was on the Beatty show two seasons I think, '60 and '61. He finished his animal career out here at Jungleland. He's in his 80s, happily retired, fit and able as ever. We are in touch, and I've visited his very remote and secluded home, back in the canyons around Thousand Oaks.
I would love to be able to talk with Mr. Raffler about his performing pigs, as I have an interest in pig training and pig acts, both of which appear briefly in my 2011 book PIG. If someone could help broker this I would be grateful. Thanks. Brett Mizelle.
