Meanwhile, Slade, Redmond and LaBat have been captured by the Cobra’s warriors and are brought before him. They reveal that they have documents (which they’ve taken the precaution to hide in the jungle) that prove the “lion goddess” is in fact Joan Redmond, the heiress to a fortune worth millions. When they refuse to reveal where these documents are hidden, the Cobra has them locked up in his dungeon. |
