Peter Boyle, one of the great character actors.
Loved him in Young Frankstein as the monster..the part with Gene Hackman is priceless!!
A bit of TV trivia. Peter's father had a kids television show in Philadelphia called Uncle Pete's Gang. He drew pictures and played cartoons on the show. As I recall he also was the station's Santa Claus during the holiday season.

Both he and Mandy Patinkin were on the Big Apple Board of Directors.
Late comment,
I met Mr Boyle at a Big Apple performance way back when. Introduced myself as a Circus Fan.
He was with three young girls, I believe it was his daughter and a couple of friends. I asked if I might take a picture of them and offered to mail copies. He said "sure". I gave him a piece of paper to write his address on.
He started with "Pete Boyle", one of the nicest people I've ever met. Sent him the pics and got a nice thank you back.
Then there's Bill Murray, but that's another story.
