I remember an elephant named "Daisy" that started out with Gollmar Bros. and later toured with Christy Bros., Russell Bros. and Kelly-Miller. She went to Cole & Walters when that show was framed and one day while there while passing a cage, she swung her tail and a tiger reached out and grabbed it. It was so badly mangled the Vet cut it off to about the length of the one above. When we mucked out the barn you had to be careful since she would swing it like a baseball bat if she thought you were going to mess with it.

Thanks for the story, Buckles.
Which other elephants went with the new show? I have seen in Bandwagon that there were three, but four by 1951 according to Billboard.
