Can't recognize the guy, but that's got to be Marie Pierre Benac on top. Sure miss you all on BAC.
Paul
When you have a moment, how about giving us all an exact count of how many photographs you have in your archives...and yes, my tongue is in my cheek as I ask this.
As always, wonderful "stuff",
Paul
Paul, I was referring to the number if items that I have posted on the Blog overall.
That includes magazine articles, elephant info, books, films, cartoons, dirty jokes, etc. that I have filed into 132 categories listed from "Advertising" to "Zoos".
As far as actual photographs go, there are a lot of collectors who have more, maybe even yourself.
By the way, the chap in the photo above is David Demitri.
Son of a gun, I thought that would be David, but I don't remember him as having such a muscular physique.
As far as your archives go I'd say you're up there in the Pfening, CWM,
Price and a few others neighborhood
and I'll bet in many instances you have more info. There are others too who are rarely mentioned like Gordon Turner and Paul Horsman and Rob Houston. Just thinking, did CWM get Chappie's collection?
All best, Paul
Thanks for the compliment Paul but my stuff pales in comparison to the size and quality of Pfening collection.
In 1978 I decided not to ride the Ringling train and drove overland so I could have Rick give me a tour of their place in Columbus.
The material in their possession was not in a corner room like mine but housed in a building right out of the new Feld Video I saw recently.

Paul: How did "Price" get into your list?
Buckles: Regarding your being able to sort everything into 132 categories, the population of the world can be divided into only TWO categories: Those who divide things into categories and those who do not.
And by by the way, there are actually 138 categories.
Well folks on Sunday the 2 groups
are the Irish & all those who wish
they were Irish "Erin Go Bragh"
Even in this dismal (or should I say
romantic) light situation it's easy
to recognize Toto
