1987 Big Apple Circus #2

This routine was referred to as PAS-DE-DEUX which I had associated with bareback riding.
Paul Binder came up with the idea. They played slow Arabic music for most of it. Despite my forebodings the audience in this intimate atmosphere accepted it OK.
I was quite impressed with myself until my mother came to visit and said, "Buckles, you're about the damndest looking thing I ever saw!
She was especially taken by the slippers with the curled up shoes.
