Dick Van Dyke just received the Life Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild. They gave him a protracted standing ovation. The 86-year-old newly-wed said, "This does an old man a lot of good."
I remember when Dick V-Dyke was here in Atlanta with a two man comedy team called the Merry Mutes which was on local TV. That was around 1950. His co-star was Phil Erickson.
