We saw Ringling's Built To Amaze! last night and it was a circus. The Feld daughters have restored the spirit of the Greatest Show on Earth.A cage act with 12 tigers, performing elephants that actually perform, horses and dogs, a high wire act that reminds you of the Wallendas days on the show and an interesting collection of ground acts allow you to overlook the filler between the good stuff. The clowning is weak at best and there were some problems understanding the annoucements the night we saw it. For we traditionalists, circus music was missing but they did have a live band. The show played to a nearly full house of enthusiastic folks who seemed to ignore the animal rights "crazies" with posters and bull horns outside the Wells Fargo Center. When the show ended my wife and I agreed we had been to the circus.

Where is the Wells Fargo Center?

The Wells Fargo Center is located in the Sports Complex in Philadelphia. It's near where the old Spectrum was.
