Among the rare and valuable assets I inherited from archivist and historian Leonard V. Farley, is his cherished work on the life of Mugivan. He knew the story thoroughly, and worked for years on his book, but got no interest from publishers. When the pages came to me, he lamented, "Roger, it looks like you'll have to finish this for us." Leonard's extensive work had him off to a fine start on the biography. I'm not the expert for Mugivan, but these pages provide a tantalizing beginning. I thought of them languishing unfinished as I stood before Mugivan's monument in Peru.
