Around this time at a CB Circus I was bought a VERY Small Alligator & then seam to recall them selling Geckos or Camelions in following years -
Several varieties of small lizards were sold by "Bug Men" Tiny Caiman (looked like alligators) were sold at roadside joints in Fla but maybe were also sold on shows
I remember those canes that the 'stock' was tied to were dyed green. And you didn't want to get them wet... ever!
I remember once in my boyhood having an alligator bite on one hand and a snake bite on the other at the same time.
