The massive set of the Great Wall of Babylon was located at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard (where the historic Vista Theater now stands.) After filming was completed, it was left standing and was a notable landmark for several years. The set stood derelict and crumbling for nearly four years until it was finally taken down in 1919. By then it had fallen apart enough so that it could be dismantled at a sufficiently low cost.
