Very well deserved! What a voice, always stated with dignity and great phraseology!

God Bless Jimmy, One of the finest gentlemen one could hope to meet and Larry Allen Dean (hope you're well my friend) has it so right, always a friendly greeting.
My favorite JJ announcement was always, "Ladeez and gentlemen, experience an earthquake, the Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers walking long mount." I believe back in the day the herd was at about 14.

Rest in peace Jimmy, you will never be forgotten. I am honored to still possess one of your jackets that you so kindly signed after you gave it to me.

Following Jimmy's years as a classic whiteface clown, his idol became Harold Ronk. When he advanced to Beatty-Cole Ringmaster/Announcer, it was generally agreed he alone succeeded to Harold's prominence.
