A pretty elaborate prop for the

Firehouse routine or was it part

of a major production number

Chic: This wasn't a clown firehouse. It was a spectacular rescue scene something like the "Flames" shows on the road at the time.

When Ringlings bought and soon closed the show, they leased the fire props etc to the Gollmars for a time. They also leased them the Forepaugh Dancing Eight.
