Of the 18 guys I wonder how many of them were lithographers and how many billers???
I would have thought the bannermen would have been on number one car as the banners would be the best hits of all
Car three could be the one sent ahead in case of opposition.

I knew some of these guys. We had Paul Hale on Carson and Barnes one year. Walter Clark was on Beatty-Cole for years. Leo Loranger retired to Macon.

Clyde Carlton later had the snipe in Detroit. Frank Lee came from a family of advance men and was known as "Front Page Frank" when he worked press. He retired to San Antonio.

Eddie Jackson sold pix to fans for many years and was one of the founders of the CHS.

I've already told my Frank Braden story here. Fred Crowther's moniker was "Coo Coo."

A lot of mem that I came to thru my dad. Joe Brown was banner puller for quite a few years.
Bottles was advance ticket seller 2weeks ahead of the show in 1952. During the winter he sold tickets for Broadway stage shows.
