John Pugh has always had my highest

regard & respect & he certainly is

due the credit for the continuation

of 1 of the finest tented offerings

No matter the official or corporate

title to many of us it will always

be "The Beatty Show" Bless him

I agree with you very much and a real credit to the circus business.
I told him when I saw the show in Mississippi a year or so after they changed the name that it would take me 20 years not to say Beatty Cole.
I just wish the show played closer to me.

in the spring of 1961 & here I are

a showbum 51 years later

As I recall this tent was put up for the first time in the fall of 1987. I had a set of pics showing the erection and blessing, but sold them as I needed the $ at that time.

Can anyone recall the year of the

1st vinyl traditional 4 pole top

I recall Johnny saying it was like

packing a wet top everyday (weight)

I think it went up in West Palm
