Looks like a Pullman coach of about

the vintage of that rusted out shell

of the Jomar that's beyond any hope

(This 1 doesn't look to good either)

(or someting like that)

So there is no hope that the JoMar will ever be restored?...

I was down there a week or so ago and they were still pluggin' away.

Careful Chic, this is a PC blog.

In our breakfast at Bobs we see the Jomar and it looked like a never ending work in progress, but on our last visit we were amazed. The roof is restored, the sides almost finished. Injside lots of work being done. All by volunteers and it is going to happen. Boy did it change our thinking. We must credit Bob for his etyernal optimizm. You will be surprised Chic.tanglefoot

This is 1 case where I would love to

be proven wrong but it seemed to me

that so many opportunities in the

past to raise money for restoration

were lost & the volunteer help was

nearly impossible to count on that

I had long ago given up hope

Thanks John for the enlightenment

A restored "JoMar" would be a great

addition to the rich circus history

of Sarasota & a rival to the captive

"Wisconsin" at the museum

And all this time I thought JOMAR stood for John and Mary Ruth.

It certainly does to those of us

that know & love them

Buckles: Why do Chic's posts here always come out narrower than others?

I don't mean as in "narrow minded," I merely ask in the typographical sense.

Understanding the workings of a computer is not one of my strong points.
All I can say is they look normal from this end.
As I type this, helicopters are flying overhead since our Vice President is campaigning next door at Sun City Center.
Actually a comforting sound since the the thought of Joe Biden being a heart-beat away from the Presidency is unsettling.
