We old guys, especially circus historians of noe, getting long in tooth, its nice to see you , Rick and Dahlinger among a few others of a newer generation researching our marvelous history. Kudos and thanks to you Bob. as well bringing you insight to circus history. I have enjoyed CHS and bandwagon for so many years. johnny

Dick,

I particularly liked the “then and now” photos which show what still remains from the days of the old winter quarters.

Eric, as always, has spoken well. These photos take us to the past to study what was really there, and brings us to what we see today. How great it is to stand where something actually was, and, when we can, still see vestiges of it remaining. Flint, as the eagle-eyed historian, has preserved them well. For you film buffs, read both LOS ANGELES, THEN AND NOW, and HOLLYWOOD, THEN AND NOW, spectacular photograph and text histories by Rosemary Lord. Dick Flint has given us this welcome concept in our own world, and it's good to see the appreciation he deserves.
