From Jerry Cash #6

Perhaps for Carson and Barnes these are not unusual trucks, but interesting none the less. The first semi carried the rhino and elephants. The second, no. 53, carried the hippo, giraffes, and camels.

Something I always wondered about in an unusual truck was on the old Al G. Kelly and Miller Bros was the seat wagon they used to carry the cats in the middle of them.
They had a ramp to unload them at one end.
Now carrying those cats down the road and you know they do number 1 and 2 in those cages and it stinks.
And if number 1 runs on to the floor of the seat wagons.
The smell ought to have been out of sight and what the towners setting in those seats must have thought??????
