Central Mass residents will have the chance to get up close and personal with the biggest stars of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey.
The circus is in town, and to kick off its newest show, "Fully Charged," Ringling Bros. is holding its annual animal walk in Worcester. The event will feature elephants moving from the Worcester train yard with their trainers en route to the DCU Center.
The animals will begin their trek at the train, and move onto to Southbridge Street, moving toward Lafayette. They will then continue onto McGrath Boulevard, and finish things on Foster Street by the DCU Center.
Those looking to catch a glimpse of the elephants can catch them at any point during their journey, but the best places to see these magnificent creatures are near the DCU Center at the corner of Major Taylor Boulevard and Foster Street, and on Worcester Center Boulevard near Union Station.
Times are tentative, and subject to change based on the circus' arrival time, but the animals are expected to begin their journey at 7 pm. For more information, check out the Ringling Bros. website here.
