Buckles, Perhaps, Ralph Pierce or Fred Dahlinger will add some insight. There were buildings in existance in the direction of the new Feld Building and going out that way that aren't there anymore. Maybe this is a photo of that end of the WQ. Bob
This is the Ringling farm on Lynn Street east of Broadway. Must be what Floyd King referred to it as "Icicle Hill" although he may have heard the expression used by natives. Big barn gone but the house-type building survives.
This is on Lynn Ave in what is now on the edge of the Industrial Park just west of the Ringling Rail Car shops on Lynn Ave at the top of the hill. The house is still there plus the three story barn which is a main floor and and upper story for hay and then a partially exposed stone "basement". this was known as the Chase Farm also my relatives, Alexanders, owned the property at one time up until the '70's. And it is my understanding that these same relatives, at a time when things were not of any value, had a burn of many old items left on the property. Ralph In Baraboo
