For you younger folks when you took photos with a large camera like 4 by 5 and up it came with a frosted glass focusing screen. You could not see to focus it unless you had a dark cloth to cover your head and the back of the camera to make it dark to see to focus. Then you put the film holder in the back of the camera and pull the dark slide out and then snap the camera shutter. Then you put the dark slide back in so you do not fogg the exposed film. Real simple folks, lol. Harry in Texas
