Paul: Great pic of you and Diane.
But who taught you to work an elephant from the right?
Barbara , I should have also said, and thanks for sharing Anna May on that very special day in Vt.
O W, We were taken by surprise by Buckles that day. As I recall we were just jackpotting and it came up that Diane had never been up on an elephant and Buckles said, "Well now, we'll have to do something about that" next thing we knew somebody, probably Shannon had my camera and there we were having one of the most wonderful moments we'll ever have. I just wish I wasn't holding that "guide" so stupidly. Must get somebody who knows photo shop to take it out.
This photo, by the way, was in every room Diane was in for all those many months and brought many, many smiles to just about everygody that came in. Some people even asked, Is THAT YOUR elephant? I usually responded by saying, "In my dreams." Then gave a mini Anna May bio.
Bless you Barbara and Buckles. P.
Happy birthday, Barbara! I'm sending you my fondest wishes.
warmly,
another Anna May rider,
David Carlyon
Happy birthday, Barbara! I'm sending you my fondest wishes. Having gotten the enormous privilege of riding Anna May once, I can only imagine the pleasure of the untold times you performed with her.
warmly,
Dave
