Chic, All I know is sound speed as 35mm is 90 feet a minute at 24 frames. Usually with a hand cranked camera it was two revolutions a second. If you under cranked you got the moving real fast on the screen like the keystone cops. The tripod had to be real heavy as with hand cranking the picture would be shaking all over the place. All that old film was nitrate which is very flamiable. But were those old films just beautiful when in sharp focus and exposed correct. Harry in Texas
