His name was Bob Brisendine. He was a great researcher of early circus dates and routes. His collection was so important and extensive that Emory University obtained it for its special collections.

Sure is great to see you on a lot with camera ready for action at a circus.
Looks like me with a camera when I go to a circus.
I really miss Ted and Dorey with those jackpots and fun times.
Ted never missed a meal and loved to eat more than anyone I ever saw.

The Ted Bowman Route Collection is highly utilized and respected. Ted once told me his was the largest collection of routes in the world. He knew I lived in San Antonio at the time, and asked me to get certain routes for him from the late Hertzberg, which I did. Is Ted's collection inclusive of the Brisendine routes--anyone?
