Paul - - On which show was this taken, RBBB-Red or Big Apple?

I saw the act here with RBBB in 2000 and then again when Big Apple was here later. I thought it one of the best clown gigs I’d ever seen. On RBBB it was in the end ring near the back door. As the moment arrived the band played the opening from 2001 A Space Odyssey - -vey dramatic. The egg cracked and out came the ostrich with Mrs Svenson riding.

Believe that was the best clown number I’d seen since RBBB-Blue in 1990 when they did the Spike Jones thing with the lovely Mrs. Jon Weiss as the centerpiece. It started out with the decorous Tea for Two or similar and then broke into the Spike Jones rowdiness.

Oops, in my last I said that it was 1990 when that I saw the Spike Jones Clown gig on RBBB-Blue. It featured the beautiful Laura Weiss. No, it was the 1994-95 edition!

That was a very strong show. I caught it in Macon and in Chattanooga in ’94, two towns that the big RBBB units no longer play. I also caught that Blue here in Atlanta in 1995.
