The show squared the beef right away but it was a nifty event for the Ringling Press. The thing I remember best was every time the photographer asked Dalilah to smile she would point behind us and laugh. Later I asked what was so funny and it turned out Bouthellier would take out his eye, smile and wave it at her. By the way, Dalilah mentioned to me yesterday that the ground floors of all the office buildings and shops down town are boarded up. Even the statues and symbols have protective coverings. Democracy and free speech in action. |
