While I never worked with him directly as he had left the show before I joined Frank was always a friend with advice and support. Frank became good friends with my mom as she had worked for him at his show in Nashville during the height of the Ronald McDonald Circus. He will be missed. William W. My first three months Iworked for Frank. After leaving Venice he did all the florida dates and I tagged along as his gofer. He was great to me. I remember when the show was in Jacksoville on closing night they loaded his big Ford onto the show train to Macon. He was doing Macon too. He was going to ride up to Macon in Hickory Creek and helet me go along. My first ride on the train, we drank and played cards all night with Lloyd Morgan Sr or jr, I don't remember. After Macon I went to work with Cotton and the rest is history. I belive thier was a bit of competition between Cotton abnd Frank. I remeber one time when Cotton told me not to tell Frank anything about Cottons promotions and engagements.
Nice to see your note Art & I have
some interesting photos of that
marvelous train car that I'll send
to Buckles for future show & tell
I was fortunate to have known Frank
& have many happy memories of our
different times together some of
which will remain untold stories
