My mother bought this post card while there, she had a wonderful way of simplifying things.
One day she was invited to watch some filming an a back lot. It was a war movie and most of time was spent watching an actor crawl under barbed wire fences while being berated by the Director for not looking tired enough.
She summed it up by saying, "By the time we left he was good and tired."

This central tourist location has

1 of the very few subway stations

& is incredibly decorated with many

thousand large 35 mm film reels
