CAMELIA

Hi Buckles

The gold window card on the wall behind Camelia

is the original from "Nefertiti" at the Blackstone

Our "team" of production heads were working on

3 new shows simultaneously in 77 & 2 of them

"Dracula" & The Gin Game" were very successful

but unfortunately "Nefertiti" failed in Chicago

Andrea Marcovicci who co-starred

with Camelia was annoyed that her

eyelashes were longer (& winked)

Glad to see you are digging into your archives Chic. Please keep the pictures with stories coming; I know there is a lot of history in your warehouse and offices, and it all needs to be told, I think... what makes the circus (and in your case, Broadway too!) come to life for those of us who watch in awe, is the behind the scenes people who make the magic happen!

Ditto what Wendy says.

Well folks we have The Shaz to

blame for dragging his esteemed

dad from his well deserved peace

& quiet retirement into this highly

technical whizbang computerized

damn digital world & many of us

other troglodytes along with him

I had never before considered

myself to be an addictive type

but this sandbox has changed me

Be very careful Shannon paybacks

can be hell

A thousand thank-yous to Shannon! There is so much history and so many stories that are being recorded (accurately!)and shared on this blog, and without his help, Buckles could not be doing this! And the utmost appreciation to Buckles, who faithfully signs on every morning, after walking the rat-dog, (see, the stuff we learn on this blog!)to post all these pictures and stories that people from all over the world share.

What I've learned about Chic on this blog, is that every time his accomplishments are highlighted, he is quick to acknowledge all those who helped him create his magic! And here he has done it again: Blame (praise) Shannon, for creating this platform for his dad!

I had to get out my dictionary to fully comprehend Chic's post:
troglodyte= cave dweller.
