Speaking of large animals, I just received this photo of the updated dragon on the Blue Show.
Now that's more like it!

That's a pretty good looking lizard.

I think it's GEICO's new talking

insurance selling lizard but has a

Yiddish accent instead of British

Yeah, it fits in so well at a circus? God help us all.

The Blue show is in California. The Red Show is in Dallas, with Brian French/Cristiani.

Actually the Blue Show is in California. The Red Show is in Texas with Brian French/Cristiani in charge of elephants.

Ok, Dennis Thanks..I visited Joe and family there last year. Cant keep up with the units anymore. Red was always the GGW's show and the Blue the GSOE..at least the way it seemed back then? Red show got all new stuff all the time and Blue had leftover equipment..:(

Some of us called them Ringling &

Circus Williams Gary but the Blue

was truly the best for tradition

Wow that's Carin & Larry's little

kid all grown up

Just look at all the advantages to offering this type of attraction: no expensive feed bills, no vet bills, no need to hire experienced caregivers, no running afoul of state and Federal animal laws, no harassment from PETA. This is the future!

Have to wonder when they will come

out with Audioanimatronic elephants

but I'd guess just like computer

lighting stuff "wiggle lights" they

wouldn't handle the jostling of the

train so they would have to go by

the overland method

Disney's working on some free movement animatronics now (one in particular "roams" animal kingdom and interacts with the guests), so the elephants aren't far behind. Instead of handlers and caregivers, you end up with programmers and technicians. It might offset the cost of the food.....
