Now that's what I'd call a big gulp
(forget Bloomberg's 32oz drinks)
Chic: That's nothing. Ben Wallace once swallowed a boxcar.
Before computers, railroads frequently didn't know where all their cars were and sometimes they'd be left on some siding for weeks.
One such orphan car was sitting next to where the Great Wallace train unloaded and during the day it was magically painted to match the show train. The patch worked out a deal with the train crew and the show train left town a car longer.
They say that by the time they got back to quarters they had a car load of T-rail and the Elk statue which can be seen today in front of the club in Pee-roo.
At least that's the way it was told me, albeit not by Moses.
Any word Whitey on which Elk's Club
lost their statue
