In either 1950 or '51 when Kelly-Miller was playing the Chicago area, Tom Parkinson picked up my dad an drove him down town to the Billboard office where he spent the morning reliving his career as a showman and historian.
At one point they had this picture taken which years later was on the cover of "The Billboard" following his death.
