This reminds me, my wife and I had lunch with Bill Powell yesterday at the Cheesecake Factory and he showed us pictures on his cell phone of the Red Show in Mexico City. |

Buckles,
Oddly, Poncho Aguilar didn't go to the show, and possibly didn't know about the "set aside section," Although his son Ricardo went opening night with his family. I wonder why he didn't tell Pop? I chatted with Alberto and Lucas Atayde and family's the second night. I wonder if they went to more then one show? I don't know, maybe none of these folks are considered "major Mexican circus."

I have this photo under restoration. It had been loosely rolled, then crushed, split, and creased under piles of plunder. In the Lower L of this Kelty is "Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus - 1935 - Madison Square Garden, NYC." His familiar large rubber stamp is on the back.
Around the edges, and on the back, Rebecca Hanneford Clarke wrote in pencil various notes: "The 50th St. side, where I'm trying to get this midget in." "Afternoon show, where kids tickets are the same as night." "8th Ave. entrance."
Fred Bradna stands in top hat and white pants L of Center Ring. Top of Ring 3 is Poodles Hanneford and family. Clowns in ring are Felix Adler, L, Paul Wenzel upper C, and Frankie Saluto at R.
Two high-wire riggings at far L, and URC, with platforms and bicycles, we see are without poles, hung and guyed down.
Kenny and one of his daughters, (Not Nicole), visited Katya & Nelson Quiroga at the Circus Vargas lot in San Bernardino, CA a few weeks ago. I thought it was a neat gesture.
Frank,
Isn't that normal if a producer is near another show? At the Mexico City show, Kenneth was telling me about going to visit John Pugh and Cole Bros. Evansville was normally loaded with producers.
